Sad to hear it didn't turn out as expected. And yes, I agree, that's a huge problem. :(

Curious - which (few) companies products were actually manufactured in the US? Mostly wondering about Texas Instruments and Xicon.

I'm very sorry to say that though all my parts were sourced through US-based companies (including Mouser Electronics themselves), precious few were actually manufactured in the US. I thought I was doing this to prove to myself that there still are manufacturers of high tech items (actually most of these are bog-simple, so let's call them medium-tech) in my country. I ended up proving myself dramatically wrong.

Does no one else see this as a problem?

That's just it. I shouldn't need cruise control just to drive on the freeway at all. Cruise control is supposed to be a convenience, a luxury. In Ohio they've effectively banned driving without it.

Yeah pretty awful.
Funny to see where people are at in this world of business.
To think this site would represent your company well?
Makes me wonder what her house/business looks like. Hello Horder!

um...yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and agree with you. I spent a while in quiet aw. Although, ironically not quiet at all. There was some terrible music that I had to scroll way down to find out where the player was embedded, a difficult task amongst haphazardly flung, blurry pictures and the neon headlines that are desperately trying to convince you that Yvette cares about you. Wow...wow.

For tech I'm going to have to say the rise of the smartphone as a serious computing platform. It's already completely revolutionized how people communicate, and I don't think it's done either.

On a personal level this has been an extremely difficult decade. In addition to everything enumerated above, I also lost my father to cancer, which is kind of a decade-ruiner.

As far as Sarah Palin's 2012 prospects, that's a matter for another entry. I've a lot to say about it.
